Haripur Zamindar Bari
Haripur Zamindar Bari is situated on the bank of Titas river at Harinber village of Haripur union, Nasirnagar upazila. This is around 15 kilometers south-east of Nasirnagar town. This 175-year-old historic building is also known as Rajbari (king's palace), Boro Bari, or Zamindar Bari. It is known to have been built by Zamindar (landlord) Gauri Prasad Roy Chowdhury. It is a three-storied nicely decorated building on 480 decimals of land, with two domes and around 60 bedrooms.
The descendants of the owner of this Zamindar Bari left this palace to their house priests after 1947 when the British-appointed Zamindari rules were abolished. The descendants of the priests still live in this place. Visitors from all across the country come here to see this historic mansion. The shooting of Humayun Ahmed's last movie Ghetu Putro Komola took place here.
