Alhaj Jamir Khan Jame Mosque is a renowned historical mosque located in Khoshbas village, under Khoshbas Uttar Union of Barura Upazila in Comilla, Bangladesh. Built during the British colonial period around 1805-1806 (1212 Bengali year) by Alhaj Jamir Khan, a businessman who settled in Khoshbas through marriage, the mosque has remained a center of religious and social significance. Locally known as the "Boro Mosque," this architectural marvel stands as a testament to the region's rich heritage and the devotion of the community.

Constructed in the Mughal architectural style, the mosque features three elegant domes and four minarets, giving it a majestic appearance reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. Over the years, the mosque has undergone expansions, including the addition of a two-story veranda between 2005 and 2007 to accommodate more worshippers. The interior boasts exquisite terracotta artwork, intricate floral patterns, and Islamic calligraphy, reflecting traditional Bengali craftsmanship. Adjacent to the mosque is a large pond with a paved ghat, serving as a space for ablution and daily use by the locals, along with a designated ablution area.

Beyond its religious significance, the mosque plays an important social role in the community. It hosts daily prayers, Jumu’ah congregations, and special Tarawih prayers during Ramadan. Nearby, a family cemetery holds the graves of Jamir Khan and his descendants. The mosque also manages a local Eidgah for Eid prayers and operates the Jamir Khan Social Development Association, a charitable organization that assists underprivileged families with housing and other necessities. With its historical roots, stunning architecture, and ongoing community contributions, Alhaj Jamir Khan Jame Mosque remains a cherished cultural and spiritual landmark in the region.
