The Madhabkunda Eco Park is located in Madhabkunda, under the Moulvibazar district of Sylhet. The area of the park is 267 acres. It was established in 2001 to protect Madhabkunda waterfalls and adjacent biodiversity. Around 200 feet (61 m) high Madhabkunda waterfall is the main attraction of this Eco park. The Indigenous communities of Khasia live in the village and run agriculture-based economic activities in the forest.

Thousands of tourists come here every year to see the waterfall which is the largest natural waterfall in Bangladesh. Stones of various sizes, the nearby forest, and the continuous waterfall attract the tourists very much. When you reach Madhobkunda, the water flow of 200 feet high and the huge stone blocks will undoubtedly fascinate you.

More than 200 yards away on the left side of the main waterfall, there is a waterfall named Parikunda. The water is also continuously falling from there.

Though this Madhavkunda waterfall is a place of enjoying the scenic beauty, it has a fear of accidents. As a result, everyone should be careful when arriving at the top of the waterfall or swimming in the lake. If anyone doesn’t know how to swim, he or she should not go near the waterfall. However, to get the touch of the green natural environment and the waterfall, people come here every day.
